A Tip From One of My Members

A Tip from One of My Members

Joe Faust of Eastbury Bowling Center, a Facebook guru guy in his own right, sent me this suggestion based on the “11 tips to forming short season leagues” blog I wrote the other day. THANK YOU JOE

Here It Is. Hope It Helps You!

“Great advice as usual, but let’s take another look at #2.

Facebook has become defensive about content that is non-organic to Facebook, and their system spikes posts with outside links so at the end of the day they’re not seen by as many people.

It’s now better to upload your video onto Facebook to maximize exposure, and also to YouTube for non-FB contacts.

If this isn’t practical, a workaround is to include a Facebook-native graphic on your post and in your accompanying text include the phrase “See the comments below for the link to…” the video, the coupon, whatever. Then post the comment, go back in, and add the link to the comment section. A pain, I know, but that’s how the game is played.”

Hope this helps. Keep up the good work!

Best regards,

Joe Faust
