In a few weeks I’m going to be giving a seminar about “Marketing to Millennials at the East Coast Bowling Convention to be held from October 21st thru October 24th at the Kalahari Resort in the Poconos.
Here is just one tantalizing tip on how you can market a relevant program to this group.
This group, steeped in technology and breast fed on smart phones has more pets (dogs and cats) than any other age group.
Of the 85 million millennials, born between 1981 and 1996, approximately 3 out of 4 of them have a pet; more than any other demographic segment in society.
Want to get their attention?
“Snapchat” them up or “Instagram” them about a promotion you are doing involving pets, Humane societies, or ASPCAs. Donating a portion of their expenditures at your business to these types of charities will bring you more new customers and more business.
And guess what?
More than any other age group, they prefer to do businesses with businesses that truly believe in social causes like: supporting homelessness, world hunger, the environment and disabled Veterans.
Please come to the East Coast Show and get more relevant and useful information to help you capture the discretionary dollars of this huge market segment
P.S. If you would like to raise money for disabled vets, “November is BVL Month in America” and you can find out how your center can attract millennials by conducting a fund raising program for BVL
