Most of the Northeast section of the country got socked with a good old fashioned snow storm today and yesterday.
Snowfalls of up to 28” in New Jersey and 3 to 4” in more southern states down to VA have been reported along with the regular pictures of kids sleigh riding, cars getting shoveled out and of course several overturned cars – just for the visual drama of scaring you to stay home.
As a result of this weather phenomenon, I expected to see posts from bowling centers I follow to persuade their customers to get out and go bowling.
Strangely, I only saw three centers post on Facebook messages that said, “C’mon and bowl at (Happy Lanes) its snow bowl weather”. Or something like that.
If you didn’t close because of the snow, where were the rest of you?
Why didn’t you send out a message and a special “Snow Bowl Kids or Family offer?”
When you miss these kinds of opportunities, you know you’re leaving money on the table, right?

Plan ahead.
What problems will your customers have that you can identify for the winter, spring and summer? Then build your programs (solutions) around those problems.
