“Our Thursday night special isn’t catching on. How do we promote it better?”
That’s the wrong marketing question to ask.
The right question to ask is:
“We want to change Thursday night’s business; how do we find the right story to tell to the right market so they can have an experience that delights them and they will tell their peers?”
Doing our homework before deciding what new promotional program we will implement is worth our time and effort because the more relevant data we have, the better our decisions will be
